Pony Club

Normanby Park Riding School has recently become a member of Pony Club making our establishment a "Pony Club Centre".

Pony Club is a registered Worldwide Association for young riders and allows members to learn whilst having fun and enjoying their sport.

By being a member of a Pony Club centre it allows members to learn about general horse and pony care, stable management and practical issues of everyday horse management whilst at the same time improving their riding ability

There is a series of Pony Club Achievement Badges which can be worked through by the member at their own pace to improve their horse and pony care skills. Once the member feels ready they can be tested on the badge subject and receive an achievement badge to show they have passed.

There is also a series of riding tests which again can be worked through at the member's own pace. Again, a certificate is awarded on satisfactory completion of a test at each level.

Another important fact to point out is that you do not have to have your own horse or pony to become a member and take part in the Pony Club Centre. The horses and ponies at Normanby Park Riding School will be happy to help you out with the riding side of things!
